![]() ![]() ![]() Forgot this computer has a Sound Blaster Audigy and was plugged into it and it had been working fine but assuming a windows update killed the Audigy drivers so I moved to the onboard ports and it's fine now. "Hi, did you ever get this resolved? I have the same problem and I can see output levels in Sound manager and my speaker are set to default but no sound from them or the front port either." ![]() Somehow, I had it ingrained in my head that I was using VIA HD audio drivers and I found files of this on my computer for this so this whole time I was using VIA HD audio even though I had RealTek and ever since RealTek has installed on my computer by default from windows its been broken. The weird thing is though is my motherboard has RealTek onboard but when i went to go change the source from windows, I noticed that I was seeing a different picture for the driver. The problem started when i plugged my headset in and it is USB so it started downloading/installing the driver and i unplugged it because I plugged it into the wrong USB port (to save time because that USB already had the driver). I have made sure that is not a problem with my speakers because they can play sound from other devices so its not that. No both the front and the rear ports do not output any sound. Any sound with headphones out of the front ports or rear ports? there are settings in the sound manager to mute the rear ports if headphones are plugged in. Connect to Headphone Connect to 2-channel speakers 1-2 Connect to 4-channel speakers Connect front speaker to lime port, connect rear speaker to black port as shown below: 1-3 Connect to 5. ![]()
